Normal bloodwork, wrong brain.

Nutrient status can look normal on labs and still be wrong in the brain. TCN2 is the clean example. Detox rows sit in the same walk-through because they changed what I avoid.

Mechanism

3.33× peripheral neuropathy risk, rising to 6.9× if folate exceeds 800 mg/day. Brain B12 can be low even when blood B12 reads normal.

How it shows up

This is why high-B12 foods land on the protocol table.

Folate is not the automatic homocysteine answer.

Mechanism

Explicit non-responder flag: two-copy carriers generally do not get significant homocysteine reduction with folate.

MUC1 / FGFR2 CC / — 2 copies HIGH IMPACT

The mineral story is its own spoke.

Mechanism

MUC1 CC, two copies, high impact, 16% prevalence, drives magnesium threonate plus high-magnesium foods. FGFR2 is the companion printed “rare SNP” at 14.6% prevalence.

How it shows up

Both sit in the mineral story, not the amyloid story.

GSTP1 / GSTM1 GG / deletion 2 + 2 HIGH IMPACT

The trash crew is short-handed, and the shortage stacks.

Mechanism

GSTP1 GG, two copies, high impact, 11.1% prevalence: 4.8× and 1.84× cognitive-impairment and glyphosate figures, plus lead-exposure cognitive effects. GSTM1 complete gene deletion, two copies, high, with an additive interaction with the other glutathione genes.

How it shows up

This drives “avoid glyphosates” and “avoid smoke” on the protocol table.

GCLC HIGH IMPACT

Inflammation and stroke-size notes sit on the same clearance crew.

Mechanism

Printed increased size of stroke damage and psychosis notes. Prevalence 11.7%.

How it shows up

Sulforaphane and omega-3s list this row among their drivers. I am not expanding excluded panels around it.

CYP2R1 is filed under benefit and then contradicted.

CYP2R1 AG sits in the Vitamin D Benefit panel, but the report prints that one variant is actually a risk for vitamin D deficiency. A variant filed under “benefit” that the report itself argues with is exactly the texture this page should surface.

WHAT I DID

High-B12 foods, magnesium foods, sulforaphane, and an organic-grain tilt.

I did not treat folate as the homocysteine answer. I did treat glyphosate and smoke as avoid items because GSTP1 printed them that way.
